Title Sequence

Created for the film "Rachel Carson". I wanted my title sequence frames to convey how Rachel Carson as a scientist and writer was always battling war time and politics. Carson’s documentary also had a very organic and down to earth tone that pushed me to use collage to give it the same simple organic feeling. In addition to the cut/torn paper collage I incorporated a repeating element of a circle. I thought it was a way to show transition and movement from frame to frame, while also creating a grounding reoccurring element. I utilized the circle in different ways whether it's a paper circle or a bomb exploding.
